about our wine, the Delaneys' believe the secret to producing a great
wine starts in the vineyard. We tend our vines by hand and have a strong
focus on soil health, using a combination of biodynamic methods and native
grasses in our vineyard to encourage beneficial insects, ensuring the
vineyard remains in balance with nature. The wines produced display great
fruit expression and cleanliness, reflecting the unique site specific
characteristics. Sinclair's
Gully is the hills only climate
action innovator and advanced
ecocertified cellar door, one
of only two cellar doors in Australia to carry this ecocertified
accreditation. We
have also been recognised within the tourism industry for our innovative
wine and ecotourism experiences, winning 5 state tourism awards and
2 regional awards in the categories of Tourism Winery, Ecotourism
and Excellence in Sustainable Tourism over
the past 3 years. Sinclair's
Gully offers visitors an insight to the importance of the endangered
candlebark ecosystem occurring on our property by showing visitors the
bush care work we have completed over the past 13 years. Discussions with
Sue and Sean on the biodynamic practices in the vineyard and the
sustainable land and business practices provides an out of the ordinary
cellar door experience. Wandering through 150 species of native plants and 66 species of birds on a guided
wine and wildflower walk in our sanctuary
during spring, watching the black cockatoos fly through the candlebark
forest at dusk at a summer twilight tasting, or just sitting back on the
deck with a glass of wine and a platter offers visitors a very personal
