SINCLAIR'S
GULLY WINE TASTING NOTES
Sean and Sue Delaney established Sinclair’s Gully
vineyard on their property in Norton Summit in 1998, recognising both
the natural beauty of the setting and it’s suitability and potential
as a great cool climate vineyard. Since
establishing
the vineyard, Sinclair’s Gully has specialised in hand crafting estate
grown examples of the Adelaide Hills cool climate wine icons —
chardonnay and sauvignon blanc.
At 485 metres above sea level, the free draining,
naturally acidic soils with a gentle northerly aspect provide the ideal
setting for chardonnay and sauvignon blanc
vines. With a commitment to sustainable organic practices, the vines are
worked by hand to ensure the highest quality in the finished wine. This
attention to detail in the vineyard has definitely paid off, producing
Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines of exceptional quality.
